  • Do I need prior experience?

    Not at all! Our apprenticeships are beginner-friendly. You’ll be guided step-by-step from the basics to advanced techniques, with hands-on support the whole way.

  • Is this approved by the Idaho State Board?

    Yes! All required ABK Apprenticeship programs meet Idaho State Board requirements for hours, curriculum, supervision, and licensing.

  • Can I choose my own schedule?

    Yes! You’ll work with us to choose your weekly training hours based on your program. Plus, you’ll attend two Sunday theory sessions per month. We know life is busy—this program is designed to be flexible.

  • How do I track hours?

    All apprentices use our Clover clock-in system. Hours are submitted weekly or monthly to the State Board, and we provide progress reports each month so you always know where you stand.

  • What’s the cost of each program?

    Each apprenticeship has a unique price depending on the hours and kit. Esthetics, lashes, nails, and makeup all have different rates—but we break it down clearly for you before you enroll.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes! We offer in-house financing for all programs, and custom payment schedules are available to make it accessible for everyone.

Program Options – Choose Your Path

Nail Technician Apprenticeship

Learn everything from shaping and sculpting to sanitation, gel manicures, acrylics, art, and business basics. Includes weekly theory, full kit, and support to sit for your Idaho state boards.


Duration: 800 hours

Location: Twin Falls, Idaho

Mentorship Hours: Flexible schedule available

Esthetician Apprenticeship

Our most comprehensive program—covering facials, brows, waxing, lash lifts, SFX makeup, skin analysis, and more. This 1,200-hour journey is taught in detailed modules with theory days and hands-on experience.


Duration: 1,200 hours (approx. 9 months)

Includes: Milady textbook, full kit, theory Sundays, monthly check-ins

Makeup Artistry Apprenticeship

From bridal glam to runway drama, this makeup mentorship is perfect for aspiring artists who want to master both natural and bold looks, while learning color theory, skin prep, sanitation, and application techniques.


Duration: 600-800 hours

Focus Areas: Classic, Editorial, Special FX Add-on Available

Lash Extensions Apprenticeship

From isolation to innovation, this lash apprenticeship is perfect for future artists ready to build a strong foundation and grow real-world experience in a licensed salon. Learn classic, hybrid, volume, wispy, and retention techniques with direct mentorship from Kaylynne—plus business, branding, and real client hours.


Duration: ~720 hours (6 months)
